Broken Social Scene Live at the Warfield
Last night Toronto based rock band, Broken Social Scene, took the stage at the Warfield, one of San Francisco’s most beautiful venues. As they took the stage the crowd began to roar out of excitement, they already knew it was going to be an incredible show. Brendan Canning and Andrew Whiteman were the first to be seen as they began KC Accidental, pumping up the crowd with jumping around stage and for lack of better terms, rocking out. The show included songs from Forgiveness Rock Record, their self titled record, You Forgot It In People, as well as a couple of covers. Kevin Drew exclaimed that he loved this city, because it has been with them since the start, and he made sure to give the show his all. Once they made it to the encore Drew began talking about he has been dealing with a case of bronchitis, so it’s been painful and hard to sing, but he continues to push through. The band had four songs as an encore, including a cover of Modest Mouse’s “The World at Large.” Check below for photos from the show.
