I have known that Young the Giant’s frontman Sameer Gadhia had a voice that could cover soul, but I never expected this one. This past week they covered Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” on Dermot O’Leary’s Radio2 show, and left quite the mark. There is an amazing harmony created between the backings of François Comtois and Eric Cannata along with Gadhia’s lead throughout the song, while Jacob Tilley does what he does best and fills in with some electric guitar towards the end. Below is the audio of both the Young the Giant cover and Adele’s version.

You’re an amazing artist Alex! I’ve been watching all your videos and I am truly inspired. Young the Giant is one of my favorite artists and this cover of Adele is beautiful. I am in love with Sameer and Francois’s voices, in this cover song and in general.

Looking forward to seeing more great videos!
